About UsThe Cambridge Emergency Medicine Society is a new society founded in August 2015 by Nathan Hudson-Peacock, Christ's College (2010-2016) to cater for the interests of medical students keen on all aspects emergency medicine. It achieves this by organising talks, practical events. We are affiliated with the Cambridge University Pre-Hospital Care Programme (CUPHCP), who run monthly forums on pre-hospital care; the Cambridge University Wilderness Medicine Society (CUWMS); and the Cambridge Student Community First Responder scheme (SCFR), who provide vital medical care in emergencies before the ambulance arrives on the scene.
